Zach and Tara will be one of the kindest couples you will ever meet. They treat you like family. Their family treats you like family and even their friends treat you like family. Their entire wedding was like one big family.
No matter where I pointed my camera, I was capturing a smile, a laugh or a hug. These moments were everywhere, all day long and through the night.
It was awesome.
I knew their wedding would be like this from the moment I met Zach and Tara. Actually, they were one of the first couples to ever book me for their wedding.
When I first started photographing weddings around 12 months ago, I could never work out why people chose me to shoot their weddings.
But, I enjoyed taking photos and that was good enough for me.
That was, until I met Zach and Tara.
I remember Zach and Tara telling me they have looked through all of my work. They saw the first wedding I photographed, the second and the third. I didn’t have anything else to show, yet they still asked me to photograph their wedding.
They were the first couple who saw past my photography.
They saw me, as a person, who loves what they do.
They said to me, “We have seen how you have grown as a photographer from wedding to wedding. We can only imagine how your photography will have evolved by the time it reaches our wedding”.
Zach and Tara trusted me.
They didn’t even realise it, but they secretly planted a goal in my chest, close to my heart.
But, getting back on track, I’ve been looking forward to sharing this wedding with you all.
The party was amazing. The dancing was crazy and the laughs were heard by everyone in and out of the building.
They rocked it, way awesome style.
