The morning of Anthony and Bianca’s wedding, I drove through the untouched hinterlands of the Gold Coast. The smell of last night’s rain, trees and lakes came whispering through my car.
I had to stop for a moment, close my eyes and take a slow breath.
The day for Anthony and Bianca’s wedding was perfect.
The moment I arrived, I was part of the Smith family. I was enjoying all the stories, and the memories of what was unfolding before me. I was there for everything. It all had meaning to me… enough to make me crumble with a tear during the speeches at reception.
Today, I close my eyes and I remember everything.
